Community CPR class

District 3 EMT’s and paramedics teach classes in basic bystander CPR for adults every first  Thursday in the District training room at the Sequim station. (The schedule does get revised in May, November and December).

The classes begin at 7 p.m. Students learn basic CPR as it is used on adults. Infant and child CPR is  taught in May and November.

The class takes about two hours, with those who can show on a mannequin that they have learned the proper technique receiving a certification card.

The class is free to all District 3 residents. Call 683-4242 to sign up. Information on how to receive first aid or child CPR from outside the district is also available.
